Bill hails from Birmingham and is a Birmingham City Supporter.
Bill has been with the club for 13 years helping run a team in the junior section from U10’s to U18’s.
He has been an active footballer over the years first playing for local Birmingham sides, then joining the Royal Air Force in 1977 and played for his local station side and was part of the successful RAF Abingdon squad which won the RAF cup.
On leaving the RAF in 1985 Bill continued playing for various local football teams in the area (Castle Donington, Shardlow St James, and Aston on Trent). He currently plays for the clubs veteran’s side.
Last but not least as well as being the current club chairman he coaches and manages the club’s senior team who play in the North Leicestershire Football League
